‘Frassani’
is Luke Frassani on guitars and vocals, Paul Jefferies on bass and Theo
Sloot on drums and percussion.
‘Frassani’ creates a truly exciting sound with influences based in
blues, jazz funk and rock. Hard edged and melancholy vocals from Luke
Frassani are firmly underpinned by a robust yet playful rhythm section
with great groove busting unison accents from all three musicians. Luke
Frassani’s guitar howls with excitement (as does he on occasions), Paul
Jefferies growls along in the lower registers with classic, funk, rock
and jazz walking bass lines and building on his Latin-jazz-funk
experience, Theo Sloot treats the ears to wonderful rhythmic
fundamentals broken by cross and syncopated breaks that keep the music
