LUKE
Luke (or
Luca if you’re Italian) Frassani started playing guitar with local bands
in his hometown Brescia, Italy near lake Garda. Luke, a true blues music
lover, has played in numerous bands throughout Italy including the band
Cry Baby (a Jimi Hendrix Experience band) which travelled Italy and
Europe. Luke moved to England to gain experience from the UK’s rich
musical scene and has played with a variety of musicians in and around
the south of England.
THEO
Theo Sloot
grew up in Africa and took up the drums aged 14. He played with various
bands in London in the early 70’s, including one managed by Tony Blair!
Theo has played with a large number of name musicians over the years
including Jaime West-Oram (guitar with The Fixx, Tina Turner, Stevie
Nicks), Chucho Merchan (bass with the Eurythmics, the Pretenders, Robert
Wyatt) and Tim Sanders (sax with Eric Clapton, The Who, The Rolling
Stones) and most recently he played with Tom Robinson before joining
Frassani. He plays all styles from jazz to rock, specialising in jazz
funk and latin.
PAUL
Paul born a
true cockney in Lambeth (you’d never guess from his accent) has played
alongside classical, jazz and blues musicians throughout London and the
home counties and after a break from the industry has returned with a
greater than ever enthusiasm for creating music. Paul has gigged in many
west London clubs (including Ronnie Scott's) playing with a variety of
musicians in the seventies, Paul plays double bass and both fretted and
fretless bass guitars.
